JERRI HOLAN, AIA FELLOWSHIP

From a national membership of more than 80,000 architects, fewer than 2,500 AIA members are distinguished with the honor of fellowship.  This is the AIA’s highest membership honor for architectural excellence and is bestowed to a select group of architects by a jury of their peers.  It recognizes exceptional work and contributions of national significance to the profession of architecture and society.

A practitioner, research scholar, and author on traditional wooden architecture, Jerri Holan was elevated to a Fellow because she has advanced architecture through her research, advocacy, and leadership in historic preservation.

Ms. Holan’s design competence in the day-to-day practice of preservation has been recognized with many state and national awards. Along with awards for all four divisions of preservation architecture, she has helped revitalize communities and advanced the dynamic field of preservation with her leadership.
