The shower room on the main floor of this ca. 1895 Colonial Revival
home lies directly off the sunroom. It featured 1950's materials,
fixtures, and finishes. As part of a larger renovation of their
home, the Owners decided to remodel with fixtures and tile more
in keeping with the traditional style of their landmark residence.
Victorian green, 3" x 3" floor tiles in a diamond pattern
dominate the room. A wainscot, highlighted with dark and light green
trim tile, was installed with traditional 3" x 6" “subway”
tile, extending all the way up to the 11' high ceiling at the shower.
Traditional sink and toilet fixtures were installed along with a
french door with obscure glass which allows light from the sunroom
into this small room.
