A window seat was added to this living room which resolved the problem of how to furnish the existing bay window. Colonial casework was designed to match the existing casework and wood, divided-light casement windows replaced existing aluminum sliders. The top of the seat raises for storage below and is detailed with walnut trim to match the walnut border in the floor. Brass pulls from a marine store have a flush profile for an uncluttered look.
